Sew Cute!

Check out my latest sewing creation! While spring cleaning our clothes closets, I came across some old, favorite T-shirts. I couldn't bear to part with the timeless feel of worn cotton, so I repurposed it to a throw pillow.

Create your own by turning your t-shirt inside out, pinning out a square, and stitching it up while leaving a 1-inch opening. Turn it right-side-out, stuff with poly-fill, and handstitch closed. Voila! Cute pillow!

After three years, I'm finally getting around to posting photos of possibly Steve's greatest carpentry accomplishment. As a wedding present, he built a sleigh bed for me. I have always adored sleigh beds, and knew he was building it while we were engaged -- 2000 miles apart. However, I didn't know the many skills of the man I was about to marry.
